Books, anime and writing

This is quite a good episode, from pacing to animation. Mimi and Palmon are finally introduced, and while they remain almost exactly the same as their original versions, their interactions with Taichi and Sora are quite different this time, considering that this is their very first meeting with them.

The fight scene is okay, but nothing remarkable. One thing I did note, however, are the digivolution scenes. Not everyone digivolves the same way, and only Agumon gets a full scene so far.

At this point, the story is going for one introduction per episode, giving the viewers time to get to know the characters in a different way. However, some parts are a little rushed, which makes the story fall quite short, even for a remake.

Overall, a solid 7.5/10.
