The episode is quite good. The pacing is nice, and character interactions are solid. We finally get to see Koshiro and Tentomon in their own adventure, which culminates in a nice fight scene.
The story at this point is a fully original one with the hints that 6 of the Digidestined’s Digimons have already fought in an ancient war with their Mega forms. And I think this is a pretty good twist, making the Digimon tie more into their world’s lore and history.
The fight scenes are good as well, and the animation is okay. Overall, a solid 7.5/10.
