Cloverworks delivered again!
From every scene and dialogue to the masterfully reworked soundtrack, everything is exactly like the game. The conversations, the expositions and world building, and the scene with Gilgamesh. This is literally the game gloriously animated.
Every movement in the fight scenes is well choreographed, every sound effect make the scenes much more alive. Ufotable may be a visual spectacle, and I think no one could match them in that department. But the animation quality in this episode is probably the best I’ve seen compared to all other studios.
Overall, this episode is a rock solid 10/10.
