Digimon Adventure 2020 is back with a new episode! And what an episode it was! The nostalgic factor is evident with Taichi and Sora finally arriving in the digital world!
The first half is very reminiscent of the original series when our Digidestined were chased by Kuwagamon. But this time, it was just Sora and Taichi, and the enemy was Snimon instead of Kuwagamon.
The digivolution sequence is a great new twist. It resembles the original sequence, but altered for a smoother and more updated version. Sadly, Brave Heart was never played, and the current BGM was a lackluster substitute.
The fight scenes were okay, but clunky in some parts. Which is quite understandable due to the ongoing pandemic.
Overall, this is a pretty good episode. A 7.5/10 for me.
