For the first time in the anime adaptation of this series, literally nothing was skipped. This is a page-by-page adaptation of the novel; they even included the three Masters who were supposedly with Rook and Ray en route to Hugo and Franklin, but was absent in that particular scene in the anime until now.
But despite this, the fight scene is just okay. Not good, but not bad either. Shu’s entrance, while still epic, really pales in comparison to its novel counterpart.
Overall, this episode is a 7.5/10 for me.
