Books, anime and writing

This episode is… okay. I’m not really sure how to put my feelings on this into words. It lacks the charm of the previous ones, especially the last one. The fight scene at the end, while cool and well-choreographed as always, was too short to be enjoyable. Not to mention, this episode contains various setups and references to future plot points and events.

The odd thing is, this is almost a perfect adaptation. But like before, some anime-original scenes have been created to give focus on character interactions. The scene with Ushiwakamaru is particularly sweet and heartwarming.

Overall, a solid 7.5/10 for me.
