Books, anime and writing

This is a surprisingly good episode. The pacing is not rushed, the fight scenes are engaging, and the animation is okay. The humor didn’t feel out of place either.

We get to see Yamato and Garurumon in action again, and in a much larger role this time. The other Digidestined and their partners also got their time to shine, which is a nice bonus.

One thing I did notice here. Gabumon gets a full digivolution sequence much like Agumon. And now it’s safe to assume that since they are the two main Digimon, they are the only ones who will get a full sequence.

Overall, a solid 8/10.
