Books, anime and writing

September is here, and with it, some new things to look out for.

I’ve recently published my first short story, Two Kingdoms, on this site. The story is part of my organization’s project, which challenges writers to create a story in a week. And it’s been a really fun writing exercise.

I also have a writing project I’ve been busy with for the last two months. Again, this is tied with the organization’s advocacy to reduce illiteracy in the Philippines. It’s almost finished now, and hopefully we can release it before the year ends.

In other news, my website now contains ads. With my tight budget, I realized I have to start monetizing this site. And in the next few months, I’ll be looking for ways to get more traffic and views.

Meanwhile, A Slayer’s Diary has just reached 39,000 views on its second month. I honestly have no idea how that happened, but I guess that just means a lot of people truly like the story.

Also, I’ve quite neglected Celestial Chronicles in the past few weeks. So it’s time for me to start writing more of Calian’s story.

Christmas will be here soon. And I know it’s not the same anymore with the pandemic. But I’m still looking forward to it.

Stay safe!
